Pieced and quilted garments don’t have to be stiff, boxy, and shapeless. They can be soft and drapey, or fitted and tailored. In this class, you’ll learn the secrets to creating quilted garments that have no added bulk and are flattering to any body, while retaining the wonderful texture and illusion of loft that you want from a quilted garment. You’ll learn how to choose colors, fabrics, and batting, and explore several piecing techniques that are in harmony with the fabric and enhance the style of the garment.
